Patton Museum of Cavalry and Armor

General Patton's Cadillac Staff Car
The Patton Museum of Cavalry and Armor at Fort Knox is one of the world’s largest and most diverse collections of armored vehicles spanning 1917 to the present and has the finest collection of Patton artifacts in the world including his trademark ivory gripped Colt pistol and the Cadillac staff car in which he was fatally injured.   Admission to museum complex is free.  Inside the museum you find a diversity of history preserved and presented in an educational environment.  You will not want to miss visiting this museum during your stay in the Fort Knox Area.
